Tropical Community Ecology

Examining plant-animal interactions and their influence on biodiversity

About Me

I am a PhD. candidate in Dr. Amy Dunham's Tropical Ecology lab at Rice University. My work focuses on increasing our understanding of the interaction between individual plants and their frugivorour partners and of their influence on plant community spatial structure and biodiversity. In my future work I hope to apply a theoretical understanding of the mechanisms and outcomes of these essential plant-animal interactions towards improved management, conservation and restoration of tropical communities.
